T1W3

It was incontrovertible fact that Terry was a hardworking student, now. He never fails to importune teachers for more information of what they were teaching. They had no choice but to curtail their lessons to answer his questions.

He used to be one of those lazy students who never bothered to listen in class, spending most of his time sleeping or building sandcastles in the air. One day, he suddenly became very keen to learn. Can One Improve His/Her English Skills?

I think that one can improve his English if he is willing to put in effort. “Nothing is impossible in this world” as long we put in effort.

English is a language. It has no particular formula or method to score distinction for it. The only way we can improve it is to practice it through reading, writing and speaking. By reading more books and newspaper everyday, one can improve his vocabulary and know the current events in Singapore and the world. He can also try to watch the English programs or news to listen to how other people speak proper English and thus can learn from them. Besides that, he can also write more often to help him familiarize the use of words and will then be able to use them easily in examinations.

One can definitely improve his English with more practice. Although it might be very difficult at times, but we must persevere in other to improve.
